Teaching units – Desalination and Water Recycling
We have developed two teaching units suitable for Grades 7 and 10 students, one focused on purified recycled water and the other on desalinated water. They link to the new Australian National Curriculum in the Science and Geography disciplines, with cross-curriculum links in English, Maths, Technology and the Arts. They can be used independently or with existing studies in the current Queensland Science and SOSE curriculum. Each unit includes lesson plans, student resources and links to online education_chalkboard_signactivities, such as our virtual plant tours and factsheets.
