Water Island
Water Island is a great new game that encourages players to learn basic water supply and treatment themes in a fun, interactive way!
|
Players are in charge of Water Island, a growing community facing water supply issues such as quality and scarcity. They have to figure out how to manage their water and ensure their community has a clean, secure supply of water. Along the way players learn about building dams, water treatment, desalination and water recycling plants. Water Island has been developed for primary and middle school students (ages 8 to 13) and complements existing water education programs such as Waterwise, Water for Life and Up a Dry Gully. Water Island is also available for Australian non-profit organisation to use on their websites, offline and on interactive whiteboards. If you would like a copy of Water Island to use in your water education program, please click here to download the version of Water Island you need. |
